RISK MANAGEMENT
Risk Management is a discipline that deals with the identification,
assessment and mitigation of causes and effects of uncertainty and risk on
organizational or technical systems. SUMICSID supports industry and public
agancies in their strive to proactively accomodate, evaluate and acknowledge financial, technical and human operating risks.
Our clients include PC insurers, manufacturing industry and the department of corrections. The approach is
based on a systematic analysis of the organization's objectives, financial and non-financial risk exposure.
Particular emphasis is made to create effective internal risk-transfer solutions for operating risks,
inducing alignment with corporate risk attitude and long-term resiliency.
SUMICSID associates have substancial experience in the consulting, training and product development
for the modern management of risks, focusing at the individual. Their expertise allows advanced concepts
in contract and auction design, for the benefit of providers as well as suppliers. Accredited risk
management courses may also be given for university credits through a collaboration with Linköping
University in Sweden.
